Well it has been nearly three months since I last updated you all so here is a collection of pics to keep you going. (Thanks Auntie Gill for reminding me to do this, it's been very busy with all the playing and messing around lately!!!)

My best friend Hazel and I play together nearly every week.

The rest of the summer wasn't very nice. But on the few nice days we would play out in the garden or go down to the beach.

Every Thursday I go up to Granny and Granddad's for the afternoon. I love going up and down the stairs! Granny and Granddad love the exercise too!

Early in the mornings we would head down to the beach in Sandycove before it became too busy!

My trusty bucket and spade made many a sandcastle this summer.

My UV suit got pretty worn out this year!

Other days we would go for big walks. I love walking around now much more than being pushed around in the pram, although I do enjoy sitting in the pram when we get back to the house!!

The Gang - Hazel and her new baby sister Faye pop around for a play day.

Eimear and I are out of our high chairs and sit at the table with Mummy and Daddy like grown ups now!

After lunch I like to make a mess...I mean draw and paint.

Eimear sometimes thinks I treat her too roughly, and so does Mummy and Daddy sometimes!

But most of the time we have great fun!

As the Autumn closed in we started going for walks in the forrest up Killiney hill. All the trees are great fun to hide behind.

Last night we got all dressed up. I was a big lion and had fun wearing my face paints all day!

2nd Birthday... Again...

Well it was a very busy day. I am knackered so I will let the pics speak for themselves!!!

The day began with opening pressies! It was as much fun ripping open the paper as playing with my new books and toys!

The rest of the morning was spent playing with my new "slidymajigythingy"...

...and my new play tent.

After all that playin', me and me sis hanged out in da new crib chillin.

After a nap and a quick lunch we headed off to the zoo. It was very exciting as I had never seen any of my favourite animals in real life!

Daddy came dressed as a boiled egg and was particularly impressed with the T-Rex.

My favourite animal is the elephant and we got to see a baby one playing with its mother. It was very sweet.

"Look Dad... a hippo with a pointy bit" ... Dad–"It's called a rhinoce...rinoser...rhinous... yes a hippo with a pointy bit."

After the Zoo we came home and had a lovely cake with candles. Only two though. Hope there are more next year.

To end the day I read all my cards properly. I have to admit I was so excited over the presents earlier in the morning only I gave them a cursory glance. Thank you all for your nice cards and kind words!!

Two Years Young

Hi All!

Well it's my birthday again! I'm twice the age I was last year. I hope it doesn't work like that or I'll be 16 in 2012! Had lots of fun this morning opening all my presents and playing in my new little house!

We are all going to the Zoo this afternoon to go see the elephants, kangaroos and giraffes! I can't wait. Will post pictures of my adventurous day later tonight!

Thanks everyone for their cards and presents! I have so many I am even letting Eimear play with some of them!!

Praia de Luz

Not much time to tell you all about our brilliant holiday in Praia de Luz in Portugal. Needless to say it was a beautiful place and we were very lucky with the weather. For now I will let all the pics do the talking and will let Eimear fill you in a bit more on the holiday over on her blog!

First thing in the morning after breakfast we would all head down to the beach and make sandcastles.

I had great fun getting water in my bucket to make the perfect consistency of sand to ensure structurally sound constructions.

I kept Mummy and Daddy very fit on holiday too. They had to run all over the beach with me and right into the sea too!

For lunch we would sometimes pop into the bar on the beach and grab a cold one.

The afternoons were spent in the pool before our afternoon naps.

... then back to the beach for a game of football!

Sometimes I would walk home all the way from the beach back to our apartment.

After a bath we would all get dressed up and walk along the promenade on the way to dinner.

I wasn't a big fan of the food in Portugal, but the bread was nice!

Then it was a walk back home in the evening sun. Lovely.

A Refined Palate

Hi All,

Well I am home again. The operation went really well and the surgeons are very happy with me and the result.

It was a hard time in the hospital. On the first day I had to fast for 14 hours. No drink or food! Luckily there was lots to do and I was so busy having fun I didn't notice. After the operation I got back to my bed and slept right through the night.

The next 2 days were a bit boring though as I wasn't allowed to go play with all the other children in the play room and had to stay mostly in my cot. I am way too old for that so it was a bit stressful. Luckily I brought my laptop though and watched lots of Charlie and Lola, In the Night Garden and I watched Ice Age for the first time which was great!!

Daddy brought me home last night and I was so happy to come home and see Mummy! Eimear stayed up to wait to see me and I gave her a big hug when I saw her. She was very happy to see me too. I spent the next hour running around the house and looking at all my toys. It's great to be home!!

Recession Tactic: Painter/Decorator for Hire

Daddy left the room for just long enough for me to surprise him with my lovely mural. I am available for hire for custom designed wall paintings at 200 euro per hour/some biscuits and milk.

I have been allowed drive the car a few times now. It's a bit difficult to see where I am going but it's good fun! Can't wait to have long enough legs so I can reach the pedals too!

My little sister Eimear is getting on great. She's chatting much more and now that we are in the same room we have great fun chatting at night and early in the morning.

On Easter Sunday we all went for a long walk up to the Lead Mines. We never found the Lead Mines but it was a lovely walk nonetheless!

Operation: Cancelled

You have to take the lens cap off first Daddy!!

Hi everybody. Well unfortunately due to my runny nose and slight temperature last week my operation had to be cancelled. The great news is that it should now happen on the 11th of May instead which is great. Hopefully I wont have the sniffles again! A lot has happened since I talked to you last so here is a quick Easter update!

My little sister Eimear is starting to babble and is a lot of fun to play with lately!

Roghan and Oisin visited me from Amsterdam and we had a great day in the park!

Conor came around for my first 'book club' meeting which went really well.

Afterwards we served snacks and drinks, which went down very well.

Over Paddy's weekend we all went down to Wexford. It was lovely and sunny and we went down to the beach every day. Mummy taught me how to make sand castles. They are so much fun!

While we were in Wexford we popped into auntie Niamh's house and we got to see the tree where Mummy and Daddy got married.

FIrst Post of 2009

This video was taken during Obama's inauguration. I'm much better at walking now than I was then! 

Hazel came over to visit a few weeks ago. She was walking around so I decided to follow suit and get up off me arse!

Just after Christmas we all went for a walk on the beach in Sandycove. I wanted to get in for a swim but Mummy wouldn't let me!

Eimear and I love the new wheels!

I was quite sick after Christmas too (like everyone else) and for a while I was totally off my food. I think Mummy and Daddy were getting worried. But I am back to my old ways now and will eat nearly anything! Beans are my favourite brunch over the weekend!

The other day Daddy let me try some leftover pizza. Mmmmmmm!
